Christmas Tree Lane - Tuesday, November 15th - Thursday, December 1st

Our first ever Christmas Tree Lane was a huge success. Beautifully decorated Christmas Trees were on display at the Hilton Anaheim's main lobby. All trees were sponsored by local groups and donated for purchase. Trees were delivered complete with decorations, lights, skirt and gifts attached.

Black and White Christmas Ball - Thursday, December 1st

This year, our Christmas Ball was held at the beautiful Anaheim Hilton on Thursday, December 1st. Everyone came dressed to impress, enjoyed silent and live auctions and a delicious dinner. The 2011 Humanitarian Award was presented to Lowes for their continuous generosity and dedication throughout the year.

Inked for Good Tattoo Fundraiser - Saturday, August 13th

After last year's huge success, we partnered again with Steve Soto and the Goodfellas Tattoo team in Orange, for another AMAZING day of art and tattooing. The Goodfellas Tattoo team of talented artists donated 100% of the proceeds from tattooing on Saturday, August 13th to the Eli Home for Abused Children.

DMA Insurance Charity Golf Tournament benefiting The Eli Home - Friday, September 16th

It's time again for our golf tournament at the beautiful Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda. This year, attendees will enjoy a Mardi Gras theme. The day and evening will include jazz music, New Orleans style food and beverages and of course the great game of golf.

Connect 4 a Cause Speed Dating Event - May 10th, 2011

You've probably seen the concept on popular TV shows and movies but have you gone Speed Dating yet? You'll meet up to a dozen other single professionals face-to-face in your age and interest group through a series of six minute dates at the hip Hotel Menage in Anaheim. We facilitate the whole thing so there's no awkwardness, no pressure, no embarrassment and no games... just big fun! Connect 4 a Cause then emails each guest a list of participants who would like to hear from them again! Odds are you'll have one or more matches.  This is a great event and opportunity to meet a group of single professionals, all while supporting a good cause.  All proceeds from this events goes to help abused children and their mothers.

Speak Easy Poker AND Pool Tournament - February 17, 2011

Thank you for supporting Eli's Speak Easy Poker and Pool Tournament sponsored by DMA Insurance, High Roller Rentals and Ion Vodka at Danny K's Billiards and Sports Bar in Orange. It was an evening of poker, pool, blackjack, raffle, music by DJ ElaVate, food and more! Congratulations to Chuck Jacques for winning 1st place in the pool tournament and David Bustamante for winning 1st place in the poker tournament!

Kids Christmas Party- December 19, 2010

Every year, the Anaheim Hilton is so generous to donate a ballroom for this much anticipated event. Thank you to everyone who participated this Christmas season. With your generosity, we were able to help over 400 children and mothers receive food, clothing, shoes and toys. We had more volunteers than ever this year who helped wrap gifts, volunteered at the party, put together gift drives, adopted wish lists and much more. Black and White Christmas Ball- December 9, 2010

This year, the ball was held in the new Avalon room at the Anaheim Hilton. Guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, a delicious dinner and musical entertainment provided by the Joe Partise Trio. The 2010 Humanitarian Award was presented to DMA Insurance Services for their continuous generosity and dedication throughout the year.

TEAM 57 Fishing Event benefiting The Eli Home - December 5, 2010

Thank you Team 57 for putting on a great event! We had fun fishing, the BBQ lunch was great and the raffle prizes were awesome! Team 57 members brought canned food items for The Eli Home and together it added up to almost 2000 items! We look forward to the next event.

2nd Annual DMA Insurance Charity Golf Tournament benefiting The Eli Home - September 10, 2010

If you couldn't make it to this tournament, you absolutely missed out! It was a beautiful day! Golfers enjoyed the Black Gold Golf Course while enjoying food and beverages from Cantina Lounge, Johnny Rebs, Karma Cafe, Heineken, Pepsi, and more. In the evening, we watched the sunset while listening to the Island sounds from Isle Entertainment. Congratulations to Rick Costa, Fernando and Bobby Valenzuela and Alan Harvey for winning 1st Place in the tournament! Thank you to all for your support. With your help, we were able to raise close to $20,000 for abused children and their mothers! Hope to see everyone back again next year.

Thrift Store Grand Re-Opening- July 10th, 2010

This year marks The Eli Home Thrift Store's 20th Anniversary! In honor of this accomplishment, we gave the store a significant makeover. The Eli Home and eVocal, a local artists' group, initiated the Thrift Store Revitalization Project. This included new flooring, signage and paint, murals that reflect our mission, a new "Kids Corner" for children's activities and vinyl wrapping for our donation truck. Thank you to all who attended the Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, July 10th to celebrate the 20th anniversary and reveal the exciting new look. Smokin Aces Poker Tournament - February 26th, 2010

Congratulations to Denise Hyneman for winning 1st Place in the poker tournament! This event was held at a new location - Rembrandt's in Placentia. Kids Christmas Party- Dec 20th, 2009

The much anticipated Kids Christmas Party was a blast as usual! A few hundred children and mothers received gifts, enjoyed arts and crafts, ate plenty of food and sweet treats and last but not least, enjoyed a visit from Santa himself! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. You made this a blessed Christmas for hundreds of victims of child abuse and domestic violence.

DMA Insurance Charity Golf Tournament benefiting The Eli Home - August 27th

DMA Insurance hosted their 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, August 27th at the beautiful Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton. Over $20,000 was raised to benefit abused children and their mothers. Some highlights included a helicopter ball drop, national anthem by the military Color Guard, Anaheim Ducks Power Players, and many contests throughout the day. Congratulations to the 1st Place winners, Kerry Elder, Jom Booher, J.D. and Tom Spicer! THANK YOU to all who came out to golf on the hottest day of the year. And a special thanks to DMA Insurance for your outstanding support! We are looking forward to next year's tournament.

Caribbean Mid-Summer Night - July 18th, 2009

Our Annual Caribbean Mid-Summer Night was a success! This year we are celebrated women in leadership. Women electeds including Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez and Council Members Cathy Green, Beth Krom, Deborah Gavello and Lorri Galloway hosted this event on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 at the Anaheim Hilton. Come enjoy the sounds of the calypso band, Island Rhythms, a caribbean themed dinner, silent and live auction and most importantly learn about what your generous donation actually does for the children and their mothers at The Eli Home.

Thrift Store's 3rd Birthday BBQ- May 2nd, 2009

Happy Birthday Eli Home Thrift Store! Many people came out to celebrate with us. Throughout the day there were live performances by very talented individuals, the Anaheim Firefighters barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs, and the store gave out great deals. If you have not visited our un-thrift store yet, you are missing out! We are not like the others because most of our items are new. Come out and take a look.

Smokin Aces Poker Tournament - April 24th, 2009

Thank you to everyone who made this event happen! Because of you, we were able to raise $15,000! It was a night of fun for all. This event featured live entertainment, food & drink, and Poker of course. With a cigar lounge hosted by The Cigar Guys, live performance by 3 Car Garage, and gaming galore, the Hotel Menage was the place to be!
